The Beginnings

Design is at the heart of everything I do. After earning my Master’s in Product Design from Chalmers University, I joined the Division of Design and Human Factors as a UX Researcher, where I contributed to user experience projects for Volvo Cars Corporation. I completed my product design thesis in collaboration with VTI and also worked on a student design project with Clean Motion AB focusing on sustainable mobility solutions.

Startup Journey

In 2019, I co-founded Nxtout.app with my friend Jacob Daoud. a career guidance platform aimed at helping students and professionals make informed career decisions. Later that year, we were selected as one of 12 startups to join the Jönköping Science Park's accelerator program in Sweden. Within the first week of launch, Nxtout.app facilitated over 1,000 career-related inquiries, demonstrating the strong demand for accessible career insights.

Freshout AB, Infosys and Terragon Group

Previously, I worked as Product Designer with Terragon Group, as an Experience Design Lead with Infosys and a consultant with Freshout AB. At Terragon, I worked on marketing SaaS platforms. With Infosys I was part of the Experience Design Studio, where I worked on a variety of projects ranging from conversational UX to banking apps. At Freshout, I helped design digital products for startups and small businesses in Sweden.

Design Mentorship

Mentoring is something I’m passionate about and frequently engage in. I conduct design workshops for students at the Bengaluru School of Visual Arts.

My Philosophy

Over the past decade, design has transformed from a simple visual layer into a strategic business function. What was once just a tool to design for convenience and safety has evolved into a discipline deeply rooted in human behavior and psychology. In the next ten years, design will play a pivotal role in shaping multimodal experiences and AI-driven interactions, driving innovation at an unprecedented scale.

As a designer, I enjoy shaping and fine-tuning user journeys and new product experiences. I also explore ways to speed up the design process, such as implementing mini research methodologies into our workflow. I believe the difference between good design and great design lies in striking the perfect balance between needs and desires.

The Present

I recently took a break from professional work to dive into a few side projects and do some mentoring. Right now, I’m focused on buildingProtokits– A marketplace for physical design kits, and also runningThoughtcode Labs – A design studio.

The Other Side

When I am not thinking about design, I prefer to go on treks, go camping, read books, build drones or work on my field recordings.
